Rating ( 96 score) - 2 votes.In looking for software to stack images I found that Adobe Photoshop CS6 to CC2017, Helicon Focus and Zerene Stacker appear to be popular programs for image stacking - all of these are commercial products, but the nice thing is that they all offer 30 free trial where you can test the software.This is a simple utility that tries to do one thing and one thing only, letting you merge multiple photos into one.I typically use 6-10 images per stack. For macro and photomicrography it might be worth having more features so I will try the free trial version of Helicon and run some tests and see how good it is I know there are some things photoshop is not as good as dedicated programs.
